An Invitation
Deep Nature Connection

What happens when we bring the beauty, peace, stillness and flow of the natural world deeply into ourselves and onwards into our interactions and relationships with other people?

Throughout this intimate gathering, we work directly with Nature as our partner and role model, and with each other, toward embodying cultural elements of connection. We will weave ancient wisdom and modern neuroscience into practices to discover the peace of being in unity with the natural world, and how to bring this into unity with other people.

Connective culture starts with the individual. When we are at peace within ourselves, we bring that resonance into all of our interactions and relationships. Deep Nature Connection practices help us to build resilience, and to experience the felt sense of safety, peace, natural gratitude, and emergent awe.

As we spend more and more time in these high-vibrational states of being, they become embodied traits and part of our authentic expression. With dedicated practice, we can create a ‘nervous system bias’ toward calm centeredness rather than reactivity and stress, even in times of challenge.

From here, we can begin to bring an embodied experience of connection into our families, communities, and all of our relationships.

To further support connection in relationship with other people, we will explore simple and powerful practices that act as our guiding lights, called the 10 Foundation Stones of Connective Culture. The 10 Stones are a set of guidelines developed over 40 years by Jon Young in collaboration with numerous elders and community leaders.

Based on universal principles and cultural elements from connective cultures worldwide, the 10 Stones provide a flexible structure to facilitate connection. When practiced with intention and awareness, they create a powerful container for the emergence of unity.

Embodying Unity with Nature offers a safe and intentional container to experience unique Deep Nature Connection practices, the 10 Stones of Connective Culture, and to witness their interweavings. We will bring Nature directly into our conversations and interactions, and come to know what is meant by ‘unity’ through the emergent embodied experience of its magic.
