Winter Solstice Ceremony
With Angharad Wynne, Rachel Fleming & Guests
Huddle up around the fire, in the dark forests of winter, as we approach the longest night and the turn of the year. This is a time for story, for dreaming, for vision, for planting of seeds in the fertile soil beneath and within us as we await the return of the sun.
Story, Ceremony & Song
Angharad Wynne
Angharad teaches from the old Brythonic tradition of the British Isles, the spirit ways of the ancestors of this land, and how we can recover and remember them to help us restore balance in ourselves and with the world around us.
Rachel Fleming
Rachel has worked with animist education for many years, designing and delivering educational programmes for Schumacher College, University of Wales Trinity St Davids, Lampeter and Embercombe, with a focus on the meeting point between ecology and ‘spirituality’.
Fiona Shaw
Fiona is an initiated Medicine Woman in the Red Path and creates communities with ceremony in the UK, Germany, Portugal and Israel. A nurse, therapist, Reiki Master and Doula, she works with individuals, runs women’s groups, and holds retreats and ceremonies. She says “my work takes many forms but in some way all the threads are concerned with the ‘soul’, healing and supporting and enabling people to be more present and connected in their lives”.
